Allright, going through my second playthrough of Arena, and I hit the same wall I did with my first charachter.

Enemies keep (nearly) one-shotting me with spells.

Whenever I notice I'm fighting these things, I quickly use my health potions and try to close range. Sometimes, however, I get cut down before I can even figure out where I'm getting attacked from. This is getting more common the later I get (currently at about the 6th staff peice.)

Is there something wrong with my tactics, or is this just normal "old game difficulty"?

As a side note, any class that seems to be the "best" in Arena?
