ARGGGGGHHHHHH Ctd again!

Ugh sick of asking for help and i am sure i am annoying you guys but i am getting more ctd. They happen straight after clicking ''continue'' at the main menu. It stops for a moment at the loading screen then shuts down. It was working fine this morning but after i uninstalled deadly reflex and then reinstalled deadly reflex because i had uninstalled unnecessary violence a few days back and i remembered that it had overwrote a few deadly reflex files. I thought reinstalling deadly reflex would replace those files and make everything happy and sunshine and lollipops, but instead it made it like the plane of oblivion!

So anyway if you didn't understand hat here are cliff notes:

Installed unnecessary violence about a week ago, it overwrote some deadly reflex files.
Didn't like unnecessary violence so uninstalled it a few days later.
Played earlier worked fine with no ctd.
Then i remembered that about the files that i overwrote so i reinstalled deadly reflex to try and fix it.
BOOM ctd. I also reinstalled menu status bars and dark darnuld ( dunno why?)

I recommend that you completely removed deadly reflex then update the master list in the Mods tab in Wrye Bash, before you run BOSS then rebuild the bashed patch and finally clean your gamesaves. After that just try if you can play the game. :smile:

Whether it is causing you any problems or not I dont know, but for what it is worth in your setup you dont need it .. OSR and streamline give you a lot more beneficial (and measureable) game optimisation.
Just using one of the mmm reduction esps' (IIRC (I use T.I.E so dont quote me) mmm has a few 'less monster type' esps which would give you more performance than having OSO installed.

Then you are probably better off seeking advice from the people who put that un-authorised compillation together. Or re-installing with the official files from which you will get better support of course, from the experts who created the original and know all of its potential complications :shrug:

Disabling deadly reflex made it even worse. I cant even get passed the Bethesda logo. I double click the obse then the screen flashes back and then crash?

Sounds like a missing master. Have you checked to make sure you have all dependencies?

Also, have you run BOSS and rebuilt your Bashed patch?

Remove the following :
Bob's Cheat Armory. You can't use this together with Bob's Armory.
Adonnays Klassiche Waffen - this is the German version of Classical Weaponry. Again you can't use both.
OOO_Magic_Script_Effect_Fix.. Exceptionally doubtful this is required. If so use the bashed patch option instead.
OOO_Container_traps_effect. Included with version 1.34 full.
OMOBS Optional Combat Settings. These are included with version 2.0 of OMOBS.

I'd strongly suggest adding one of the reduced spawn rates offered by FCOM or MMM. Perhaps the extra creatures added without one is putting too much strain on your rig?

My opinion only of course, but drop Deadly Reflexes until the bugs and crashing issues have been rectified. See the DR thread for details on these.

As always after altering your load list firstly use BOSS addressing anything it may highlight and then finally rebuild the bashed patch.

Sorry that you feel that way, but i don't remember anyone saying that. Sometimes when i start a thread and no one replies to it for a few days i think it has died and i wont check back. Also I am very busy during week days and i don't get much time on the internet.


But I really do take peoples advice. Like remember the streamline and the things i had to delete out of fcom? Also i don't even remember installing the german version. Most of the time if it isnt OBMM ready i us nexus mod manager so i don't see what i am installing.



But i understand if you don't want to come back to any of my threads, as i can seem arrogant sometimes.

My rig can handle the game without too major of a problem and i like the extra challenge and loot from more enemies. I have tried everything to fix this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both UV II and Deadly Reflex multiple times with no difference.


In the second post he says to clean my saves and update the master lists. How do I do this?

Yeah, there's a potential heap of complications too, Nexus Mod Manager probably doesn't know what you are installing either ... See the third post here http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1293366-nexus-mod-manager/

You really need to read the description / documentation / readme of everything you install, and take it one mod at a time.
