[Wipz] Argonia Thread II : III - Morrowind

well its over. this is officially it for me modding. last night my roommate came home and left the door unlocked and my laptop was stolen. i seriously lost everything. everything for cyrodiil, argonia, my retextures, all my trees,my music,my artwork..basically if i worked on it in the last year than its gone.

by the time i can afford a laptop will be the time skyrim comes out and since ill have to start fresh i might as well just go for skyrim. so, yeah, sorry but im closing all my mods down permanently.

No I have not, but I did start on a Vivec texture replacer.

It happened to me too, about 1 year ago. But mine was less work I assume, yours was absolutely awesome.

I'm sorry to hear that...but why not just taking a break for a while and then return to modding Morrowind? Modding TES5 is just modding a popular new game like a large number of Oblivion or Fallout Modders will do. You are a talented modder and MW could need such people more than a new game...but finally it is your decision.

no joke samira. right now im using my friends ps3 asmy only way to type and its ridiculously time consuming. i was in the middle of reorganizing my external harddrive so i could upload everything on there but it was obvi stolen before i did it.

lestat, coming back to morrowind after this means i have to remake the same stuff ive worked on since october 2008 and dont want and i couldnt enjoy it.

Nooooo!!!!! This is terrible news zackg, what a shame that none of it was backed up! Not to mention the loss of a laptop. And I completely understand not wanting to redo it, if the same happened to me I'd most likely react the same way.

ZackG, I am really sorry to hear this. I hope you do well with whatever you choose to do in the future. Thanks for all the hard work that you have put into expanding Morrowind.
