I just can't wait to get this version done and move onto liztails body. Ive never noticed how poorly made the argonians are before working on this armor. It's terrible

Seriously though, this is lookin' pretty good. It does look a little weird without a loincloth though.

Yeah, ive actually just started modelling the loin cloth now. Just cant decide weither or not it would be best used as greaves or a part of the cuirass, because the straps on the cuirass should connect to the belt which holds the loin cloth.

Well, in vanilla, the loincloths are attached to the cuirass. So if you want the armor to be compatible with vanilla chitin, netch, and daedric, attach it to the cuirass. If you don't care, well, then whatever. I don't think anyone is going to mix this armor up with others too much.

Also, making the loincloth front-only would be a good idea because of the tail, then again, you probably already figured that one out.

Will the tail have any sort of armor on it?

P.S. I just realized that it probably will be impossible to wear with pants!!! That is okay, who needs 'em anyway!

Yeah i know in vanilla the loin cloths are generally attached to the cuirass, but, im just playing about at the minute. Just seeing what works best with the style of armor im going for. And as for the loin cloth being fron only, i have a cunning plan to tackle that

And indeed i was thinking of making some strapped on plates for the tail, but im not sure weither it will look right. I may work on it as a optional extra or something.

And your not wrong, you can wear pants, but only the groin will be visible. Which you may or may not like. But as you can see its not exactly the standard kind of armor (trust me to pick really awkward armor to make for my first time)

What do you mean? Why would the knee shine through anything?

Yes it is only for Argonians, but that doesn't mean that I can't modify it for my own use right? (I might use pieces as a template for a gladiator armor if I get bored or something.)

Also, if you don't make the greaves take up the knee slot the pants will still appear, I believe. you may want to add a dummy knee so he doesn't wear knee pads and a diaper.

Well i don't think i will be releasing it as a resource for a while. And if and when i do, MODIFY IT..... you answered that one yourself.

And just don't wear pants... I don't think ive ever worn a set of armor in morrowind and then insisted that i need a pair of pants on

Anyway, it was a simple mistake

After actually seeing it on an NPC, I'm still not certain I like the color (the gray just kind of fades into their hide), but the models looks great, regardless In regards to the loincloth, I'm not sure I like the look of argonian skin on argonian skin (unless that's just a placeholder). Maybe if you're still going for the 'animal hide' look, you could try one of the leopard skin textures (tx_c_shirt_expensive_1_e, tx_c_shirt_expens_1_e_ua, or tx_a_imperial_belt_female) or the durzog texture? Maybe even just the khajiit texture. Food for thought

BTW, we never saw Westly's finalized shield emblem, did we?

He he he, ive only actually finished 1 model. No im not gonna use argonian skin for the loincloth, and im defiantly not going to use leopard skin

I think im finished with the vanilla set, few minor clipping issues still with the shield. Just gonna make a variation for the female cuirass.
