Daedric Helmets seem to fit, at least my Khajiit.
See? the Daedra do believe in racial equality for Armor, their Helmets are made to comfortably fit someone with a snout

It's possible that the helmet and the Argonian feel a strong connection to each other, like they really want to be together. Perhaps they're very like-minded or think of themselves as soul mates. Their will to be together MAKES it possible.
