argonians are the ideal race for an adventurer can breath water immune to all poison and nearly immune to all disease

Given the collapse of the Empire, I'd imagine there'd be a lot of slavery, and considering the racism I'd imagine that argonians and khajits make popular slaves.



Also makes them ideal candidates to work in toxic, flooded, rot infested mines.

If we have the ability I will create a guild that consists of nothing but Shadowscales and I will dispatch them across the whole of Skyrim.

Argonians and Khajiit are simply beasts of burden. They can only prosper under the lash and chain of a master.

Lol all these racist Khajiit, and Argonian comments/jokes. Makes me wanna make my main character a Argonian instead of a Dunmer.

I hate both. If I see a camp full of bandits, I will only kill the Beast races and then run off.

Enslave Argonians? Only if you want to risk invasion from Blackmarsh, as the Dunmer have so unfortunately learned.

My very first character was an Argonian (later changed to an Imperial 'cause beast races could wear neither helms nor boots in Morrowind -- and the fact that swimming scares the hell out of me).

Pretty much this. You might be able to get away with enslaving Khajiit's, but Argonians? You'd be begging for an asskicking. Plus Argonian's would make horrible slaves, if they wanted to escape all they'd have to do is jump in a lake, and you'd never see them again.

It's not only that either. The Empire outlawed slavery and the province is still technically a part of the Empire. Slavery being brought back by the rebels would only inflame resentment for the rebel cause while bolstering patriotism for those loyal to the Empire. Doubtlessly the loyalists would liberate slave camps inducting many eager recruits in the process as well.

If there's slavery I can't imagine it being anything but underground criminals.

I would think overall that Argonians will be pretty rare in the frigid northlands of Tamriel. Cold blooded lizards + cold temperatures = lizard popsicle.

Khajiit I can imagine will be more populous in Skyrim.

As for slavery... oh yes. Look at Solstheim in Morrowind - lots of isolated backwater Nord communities populated by ignorant illiterate peasants, essentially. Nords in Skyrim likely will be suspicious or outright hostile of outsiders. A Khajiit or Argonian may well end up on a trophy wall or in a cage.

Although, now that I think about it... an Argonian = "the Dragonborn"?! Hmm. There's some weird inbreeding going on here...

Honestly, I just don't see a Khajiit as being a potential "Dragonborn" character. The "Dragonburned" maybe... with all that fur.

my people were under lava.. if we were at our finest you wouldn't stand a chance.. i love dark elves and argonians are awful.. i kind of want an online arena so i can kill all the argonians
