For those who say its a calf.

You do know they're wearing armor that comes up higher and makes a point at the back of their knee, right? The armor's also thicker back there.

They look like they don't have humanoid legs. Their knees are very small.

You missed the higher knee joint and the shorter feet.

The knee isn't that much higher. But I see what you mean.

It really could go both ways, I can visualize it going either. That means that Argonians might have their own custom boots, if that's true.

Looks more like quarian legs. It's not pronounced enough to be an actual joint but it does look a lot like the quarians' bent shin thing they have going.

When I first saw this I immediately saw it as a second joint.

The next thing I noticed was how it appeared to be bootless.

If it is bootless then there's going to be an awesome amount of diversity between the races which I think is mentioned anyway in the Art work hub thing.

I'm withholding judgment until we get better concept are or an actual screenshot. That little, dark snippet of art isn't enough for me form a real opinion.

I'd be fine with argonian's being exactly like that concept art. Looks awesome to me!

Definitely something in between Morrowind (too strange) and Oblivion (too human) would probably be the best choice. Argonians need to look like they are beasts. At the same time though, they need to look civilized and proper enough to be an appropriate race out of the ten.

I like it. He looks dignified, a quality I feel both Morrowind and Oblivion's Argonian designs lacked. This design fits the look of a race that controls the entire eastern coast of Tamriel. Hopefully we'll see a screenshot soon, if the final design looks like that I'll be happy.

Ooh, scaly. I like.

They seem more dragon-like than lizard-like this time around, which is interesting. A Dragonborn that looks like a dragon? Sign me up!

Oh, do I smell a decrease in dunmer fans post-Skyrim release, and increase in Argonian fans?
Probably just my imagination :(

Looks so much better! They could have been digitigrade but if they look like that ingame I couldn't say anything bad about it. And if that in his hands (with claws hopefully :D) is a Spear... Huzzah!!!

Well, if the lizards look like that i look forward to seeing khajiits. Hopefully more feline than the Oblivion ones.

:stare: "You'll make fine boots", or whatever the bandits in Oblivion shouted at argonians ^_^

But really now, we shouldn't succumb to racism, there is enough room for the lizards, cats and elves. Oh, and the humans too, i guess...

Haha "You'll make a fine pair of boots lizard!"

I'm really liking this new look though, the tail makes the argonian look like it has some crocodile/alligator in it now. Theres' also spikes on the sides of his face, making me think that argonians are gonna have a lot of customizable features to them. Maybe even tail customization?

I really do not understand all the people on this forum talking about how Lizard legs should be all bent and such. Have any of you actually seen a lizard?!
Seriously, when I hold my Bearded Dragon And his legs are vertical, they draw the same profile as mine do.
The point is, Morrowind had lizard legs so completely wrong its crazy. Have you seen a Chinese Water Dragon run across water?
It runs similarly to the way we do except in more of a paddling way since its water and not solid ground.
but the sequence is still the same to humans, knee bent like ours to bring the foot forward and so on.
These are not ostriches.

They look awesome now! :D

I'm gonna slink back into the shadows before I get yelled at for not disapproving that their legs aren't backwards unlike http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/ff/KomodoDragonRinca1.jpg.

Oh would you look at that, a reason to actually like the raspy voiced generic lizard men. Maybe I won't go on my obligatory Dunmer revenge killing spree if this is the final version, god forbid I may actually play as one of them.
