I wonder if the larger or many spikes means age.

*The nice feeling when you vote first*

Argonians look beautiful in Skyrim, I was always playing only Argonians in previous TES games.
Now I'm heaving a hard time choosing between Argonians and Khajiit, either way I'm going to play both.

I'm seriously amazed how you can see every scale!
Definitely my favorite race. For now.

Ya I noticed that on all presets they have them, so I hope it is an option to NOT have them.

As for the age, it makes sense IMO

I hope that we have more options when making our Argonians in Skyrim, because from the presets released, they don't look very diverse. Also, I think better pictures of the MO and OB Argonians are in order.

Strangely, I couldn't find any good ones. Modded ones, yes but I wanted just regular vanilla ones

May as well just remove them since I posted the Visual History from a IGN blog (Tengu230 I think)

It has been noted that there has yet to be any Argonians with fins. I want fins or a decent explanation as to why they won't be featured.

To show my dedication to Argonians I made my avatar one
<---- Here it is

I might even try editing its colours and background.

Really? That is good to know. Do you recall where you saw or heard that by any chance?

I'm hoping we still get the chance to apply Fins, I liked the dorsal fins we could give them, fits with their ability. Other than that I'm very satisfied with their look.

I finally have a reason to play as an Argonian, the Morrowind and Oblivion(especially) all looked absolutely awful to me.

I mirrored my with MS Paint, what now!? :teehee:

Jokes aside, I wanted to post more questions but forgot about the 5 question limit.

One of them was: Do you guys like how the Argonians are now more fitted with the lore? (They ARE tribals, through and through)

Also: Do you care or not care about them not having beast legs? (NO FLAMING, DISCUSS THIS IN A CIVIL MANNER! And Remember: In lore, the appearence is determined by how many licks they lick on a Hist Tree!)

Look at the Argonian pictures. None of them have fins.

"Beast legs": I care, but not so much that I'll let it affect the experience for me. I like anything that makes my beloved beast races stand out and be more unique, but there are more important things to consider. And I know it's an easy way to whitewash any problem, but I have no doubt an industrious modder will solve that matter somewhere down the road.

Never played Argonian obsessively but they stick with me cause the first time I played Oblivion I made a your usual darkish green Argonian and went and got him to be the first arena grand champion, but then shortly thereafter re-rolled and Altmer ^.^

But yeah the horns are bad freakin ass GREAT art decision to add those bravo!

Good answer! I myself do not care if they have or have not. But like you said, always count on trusted modders! Well for PC of course

LOL. When I saw the title I thought 'saxhleel' was some sort of play on 'sixual'.

My first character ever was an Argonian thief and I've made a few Argonians since then. I really do enjoy the race and their lore, but..

I'm not sure how I feel about their new look. I love that they were updated and look completely different from previous titles, but if I were designing them I don't think I would have taken them down such a vibrant road. Maybe the presets are just a tad crazy-looking. I'll definitely mess around with them in the character creator. :tes:

Well we could debate if they really lay eggs or not :hubbahubba:

But really I think they are Oviparous

I really like the design of the Argonians in Skyrim, I'm hoping we can alter their scale colour for more variety, although from the presets it would appear that we can.

This is my Argonian from Oblivion, http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/qq89/Cammy2709/Ra-Ziikul2.jpg.
I'm hoping to make some re-incarnation of him in Skyrim. Though as long as I can make him a yellow Argonian I will be happy!

My second character will most likely be an argonian mage or thief.

And Pillager: Your argonian looks nice.

I like the Skyrim Argonian design, but where did the feathers come from? I mean, I like it, its just that I don't remember them ever having feathers...

The biggest complaint I have about argonians now, and it's not that big, but seeing as birthsigns are removed, we can't make shadowscales anymore. I loved my shadowscale character as he was a bad ass lizard assassin.
