Argonians in Skyrim - How can they survive?

the weaknesses of various races are defined in-game in the character creation menus. it's true that Nords are cold-resistant and dunmer fire-resistant but I remember nothing about any race being vulnerable to cold - is that definitive? well maybes the whys of that is what we can debate

Altmer. 25% weakness to Fire, Frost, and Shock.

I figure that's more to do with their sensitivity to magic than anything, which is also why they have such a high innate magicka pool. I also suspect it's due to their pretty easy living life-style too. Summerset is quite the tropical paradise anywho.

They eat more often.

A crocodile in Australia would eat once a month or less. If it moved to Norway it would probably do alright eating hot chicken soup 3 times a day.

Actually, crocodilians, and for that matter, most reptiles slow their metabolisms down and hibernate in cold weather.
They eat more frequently in warmer months, and live off of reserves in cooler weather. Crocodilians are very efficient at using energy, an adapation perhaps. that ensured their survival on Earth for eons.

Argonians are argonians, not reptiles, amphibians, or fish.
Who knows how they survive, perhaps they cast a fire spell for .000000001 on self at constant effect.
It's not like they actually exist .

for that matter how can fish swim in such waters being cold-blooded?

besides are Argonians reptialian in more than appearance? - perhaps we call them reptilian out of convenience.

Cold-blooded creatures can survive a much larger range of internal body temperature than warm-blooded creatures can. While most of such creatures become sluggish and become inactive when this happens, some fish have adapted to living their whole lives in very cold water. Some of these fish even have limited temperature regulation, so while they're not fully warm-blooded, they're not fully cold-blooded either.

And I would agree that we call them reptilian out of convenience. And so do those in-universe.
