Playing as an Argonian for the first time. Getting used to the "pond scum" comments but what's up with the trolls?

Still low level (7) but a trip to Skingard is trouble in spades. Attacked by 3 THREE trolls every trip. Is this just a bad roll of the dice or are Argonians a meal of choice for trolls? Whoa, the battles have been epic.
