Argonians will have human legs

Post » Fri Oct 01, 2010 10:42 am

If you go to http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/01/10/video-behind-the-scenes-of-skyrim.aspx, you'll get a very small glance at what appears to be the concept art for Argonians. It looks like we'll be getting normal legs on our beast friends once again. :unsure2:

Which picture am I supposed to be looking at? I don't see anything standing on two legs that has a tail.

If those are Argonians, they don't appear to have tails...

That's because they have evolved into humans

You now get the choice of deciding between humans and creatures that evolved into humans :P

I would have liked to imagine that the Argonians from Morrowind escaped the complete and total annihilation of the province

In the center, next to the picture of a small village, you can see a drawing of a person with a protruding face and fin-like ears (but no tail). I guess it could just be dragon armour.

I'm not seeing anything that looks argonian to me. At full screen the picture you're referring to looks more like armor than anything.

I can't watch the video. It keeps saying it's unavailable. I've tried exiting out and everything. :(

I didn't see anything that looked Argonian, but if what you say is true, then I am happy. :celebrate:

Yeah, it looks more like a bucket helmet with wings. Like the Pelinal armor, but with more pronounced wings.

Honestly I wished they kept the creature legs from Morrowind in Oblivion. They looked so dumb with normal looking legs.

Good clip, good tour.

***I would also prefer 'beast haunches' to human legs on khajiit.
~With alternate shin guards, but this makes for a minor problem (that I wouldn't mind); that being it would be impossible for a human PC/NPC to wear the lower half of a looted khajiit armor.

It looks like some kind of Dragonborn armor and it's similar to the one that's on a painting at 1:40.
