That's very strange. There was a bug like that in older versions, but I thought it had been fixed in 3.1. Can you post your load order?

I tryd downloading wrye mash but its just a folder with files..there dosent seem to be any exe with the download that i got.can u instruct me plz..i have no idea what i am doing

ok i have done as you instructed .when loading up mesh i got a box saying my saves were corupet restore.es or somthing

Thanks. That all looks proper.

The problem may have come from going down to the place where you slept to level up inside the citadel. I tried to fix that cell, but I may not have fixed the doors you went through. This may work:

If you can use a savegame from before entering Enderal, just keep going up. All the doors on the path upwards should work correctly.

I'll look into fixing that cell in a patch.

Thanks. That all looks proper.

o..i dont have a save beffor..my quick save was outside the top of tower..and my autosave is in basment after i rested...is there no consol command or somthing i can enter to fix this...or do i have to restart all over again :S

Just to double check, are you in the cell: "enderal, citadel, top level"?

If so, try using "tcl" to go through the wall and find your way to the correct top door (there shouldn't be any NPCs around). For some reason in the previous version, this cell had parts duplicated, and I thought I'd set all the doors so you'd no longer go to the incorrect part, but it looks like you found one I missed.

And it's a good idea to regularly make saves along the way, just like in regular Morrowind.

yes i will try to describe to u exactly what i did.

enterd into eneral,cidadel top level. there are skeltons with armor that attack me .i killd some on the first level.found a bed tryd to rest .but it said there are ememys near buy..so i moved on found a door took me to a basment(loading screen) found a bed.rested..it autosaved..i went back up the stairs(loading screen) caryyd on going up stairs..only to come to gards..not skelotens in armor. thes gards were skaterd along the way as i go up the tower,,i think thay are sapost to be skeltons in armor that attack you.but there not. i reach the top and there are 2 more gards I tryd to kill them..one has a key.dont no what its for though. if i dont kill them or kill them and go out the door the same thing happens regardles.there is a ring of white light and path is blocked by invisibel wall..i read on the walkthrough that when u exit this tower at the top there should be cut seen. the only save i have is wayyyyyyyyy back in stormwind beffor i go to tyra to get the quest to go to enderal...Is there no way i can do somthign to triger the cut seen or am i goign to have to start from stormwind again?

I tryd the command u instructed went to the other cell. and exited .but the same thing happens..it seems both cells exit to the same place.wierd

ok i have just spend the rest of my time contining from the stormwind save way back beffor this problem and i finaly got back to were i am and sadly the same thing happens again. i allso noticed that the setelment beffor the gates of enderal is bugd aswell.this is a big problem. the game seems to be broken:( and i am at a los as to what to do now.

ok i have just spend the rest of my time contining from the stormwind save way back beffor this problem and i finaly got back to were i am and sadly the same thing happens again. i allso noticed that the setelment beffor the gates of enderal is bugd aswell.this is a big problem. the game seems to be broken:( and i am at a los as to what to do now.

Sorry to hear that. I realize that some bugs may still be left in it, so I'll have to do another release in the future to try to fix them.

ok so is there nothing that can be don?like can i skip this part of the story and go somwere els to continue the main storyline or is it completly broken??

ah ok this is after i used the tcl consol command to get to the other cell..the npcs in my party are fighting on the stairs there is allso 1 npc that is sapost to be a skeloton at the top of the tower as u will see.here it is http://www.sendspace.com/file/x6dj2z i am using TAO mod and TAO window_glow let me no how things turn out.thanks

Okay, I see part of the problem. Anyway, the console code to get you past this point is:

set enderalvar to 6

You should enter that code, then exit the top door. I just tried that using your savegame and it got the next part of the quest sequence working.

Hello again.typing in the code worked. couple houres later i run into another problem

i get teleported to the desert and find a gate that is locked..i could not find any key so i used a spell to open it.i find another outpost with sand people .fight my way to a door that is sapost to lead to a city...the door refuses to open..so .i ended up having to explore the desert nearby for an alturnative rout. i go through a passage in the desert with rocks and come to a new area calld the gorge. .i used levetation to get to another outpost in the gorge.and i find the old man. he follows me and my journel updates saying u must be near arkts hide out .this is were i get stuck. i come to a stone hut but if i try to continue passed it the game crash with this error messege.

model load error meshes\ark\temple_stoneblock_01.nif cannot load file in meshes\ark\temple_stoneblock_01nif will use the default object marker_error.nif

continue runnign executible?

if i continue to load the game crashes. im wondering if it has somthing to do with me not going in the door to the city...

allso.are the sand people all sapost to attack me??

The old gate in the desert is supposed to be locked, it should be okay to open it with a spell.

The "door that refuses to open" is opened by a key, which should be in a nearby room on a table.

I'll look into the problem of the missing model. But it looks like you typed that error in by hand, which is bad because typos can sneak in. Please cut and paste the text of errors from Warnings.txt, which you can find in the Arktwend directory.

Yes, all the Mytrehen (desert people) will become hostile due to various events.


As for levitation, did you read this part of the Readme?
NOTICE

The original German version of Arktwend made the assumption that the player would not levitate, jump or teleport past obstacles, and many of the quests relied on this assumption. In this English version of Arktwend an attempt has been made to open things up a little to accommodate a more free playing style, but it is still the case that if you levitate, teleport or jump, you could break some quests. So it is strongly recommended that, at least for your first play through, you do not use those features, particularly when on a quest.


If you used levitation earlier in Trun Telur, that would explain why you had problems there, and it could be why you continue to have problems. You really should start a new game without using the mentioned features, at least until you have finished the Main Quest and understand all the places you need to go. This is a design limitation of the original mod, and it can't really be "fixed".

I no about this.but i thought it was a glitch .since the door dident say it was locked. or had a lock % on it.i just figured the game glitched. as for trun telur.i did not use levitation there. i have copyd the error messege for u to look at
