Armor Display Annoyance

I added the House of Mannequins to my game because I liked those better then the plain wooden ones that came with my house (Mormegil Manor).

Everything worked fine (after I moved the door so it didn't conflict with another shop mod) until I started setting up the mannequins. I've found that when I try to place them on the left or right sides of the room they won't face out, they end up facing the wall. I thought I could give them a weapon, tell them to show it then take it back and they'd be fine but as soon as I left the room and came back I saw that they had flipped back toward the wall.

Is there anyone that has used the House of Mannequins that can help me?

Have you tried standing up against the wall, facing out, then looking straight down,
THEN dropping the mannequin?

As I recall, that usually did it.

That works fine on the front wall and back wall. I've tried exactly that on the side walls and they will not face out into the room. The only directions they'll face is toward the front wall or back wall which means I wouldn't be able to really see anything I put on them which defeats the purpose of the mannequins.

Here is an example, shot with the CS

The spots without mannequins are some of the ones I'm having trouble with. When I try to put the mannequins there they only face to the left or the right, never toward the wall or toward me.

Nice textures, which replacer are you using?
I have Mormegil Manor myself.
I use a custom mod of the dremora version, that I made for my own use.

Haven't gotten to use it in a long while though, I almost never get around
to playing the game... I mod too much, hmm?

Back on topic, though.
I have no idea what could be causing that...
If you're desperate, you could try using the console to place them.
I think the "PlaceAtMe" function can be used for this, but you'll need to know their ID.
Try using the command ORI on an already standing mannequin, to get their object ID.

I'm not sure what changed the textures...I installed mods several at a time and with the number of mods I have it could be quite a few.

I'll give that idea a try later. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll work.

Still too busy killing Ash Vampires to try the solution you suggested but I figured out that the texture replacer is the Mournhold Texture Replacer.

position yourself the way you want your mannequins positioned then drop them. so if you want them looking in the room go there yourself, look the direction you want the model to look and then drop them. i use this mod nearly since my beginning and it worked out fine that way.

Well...I feel quite silly for not thinking of that...It worked too. Thanks for help with that problem but now I seem to have another.

The Show Weapon option seems to be broken and it was working last time I equipped mannequins. I tell them to Show Weapon and they start to but then they fall back into the normal just standing there look. I tried it with both equipped and naked mannequins and got the same result on both.

The only thing I've changed lately was removing a unrelated mod because it turned out to be quite boring. And I updated the Master List so I wouldn't get all the errors when I went back in.
