Armor displays?

Post » Wed Jun 02, 2010 9:51 pm

I've got a ton of stuff I need to put someplace. In addition I like collecting different suits of armors. Is there a mod so that I can put up every armor in display? Like a mannequin or something? I have a many suits of armor, will they all be able to fit?

You might want to try http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=4482. Although if you use better bodies, the mannequins there aren't for better bodies, so that would cause clipping on clothing and armor. Alternatively, many of Cali's house mods have better bodies compatible mannequins.

Try this one out. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8212. I did the original and Tarius redid it a little. Not only does it have tons of storage and display room, but you can take it with you! :)

Currently using Better Bodies and heads, a bunch of texture replacers, and MGE as well. So far the Lamp thing looks like my best bet.

Ice's Hideaway by Canadian Ice, has a lot of room for display with several display cases and BB mannequins available. However, it's only available off of her website.

edit:
went through and counted 85 pedestals including 1 for each type of vanilla armor. Male or female mannequins are available free from the "housekeeper"

It seems Aladins Lamp isn't going to have enough stands to hold all the mannequins. Anyone know of some other mod?

Blade117 mentioned Calislahn's house mods. Calislahn also released her mannequins seperately.
Here is a link:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6612

The included plugin is designed to allow modders to add her Better Bodies compatible mannequins to their mods,
but can also be used ingame as a ready source of mannequins for players to use.

They can be found ingame in a shack in Hla Oad, where they were put in storage. They are free to take.
You can add the plugin to your game, then just go to Hla Oad to take them.
Then you can place them wherever you want, and just equip them with clothes and armor.

Another mod you might like is "Weapon Rotate", which can be found here:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2509

It will allow you to mount your weapons on special display racks.
It includes a variety of them, from floor stands to wall mounted racks.

Also made by the same authors is "Book Rotate", found here:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1230

It will allow you to place and align books properly on shelves. A must have for book collectors.
You might also be interested in "Book Jackets", by Daleth, which provides unique covers for all the game's books,
and is fully Book Rotate compatible. Here:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4054

You'll also want "Better Books for Morrowind", by William the Taffer.
It will improve and replace the graphics for every book not covered by Book Jackets, including mod-added ones. It is here:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2332

Bottle Rotate, by Maboroshi Daikon (one of the co-authors of Book/Weapon Rotate) can be found here:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2538

It will allow you to position bottles for display, such as bottles of wine in a wine rack, using the same method as Book Rotate.
Unfortunately, as I recall, the copy of it available on Planet Elder Scrolls is "Dirty", and needs to be cleaned,
and to have it's file header updated. This can easily be done with TESTool if you know how.
If you don't, reply and I could upload a cleaned copy somewhere for you.

Lastly, I can also recommend "ShieldPlacer", by Monica21.
It will allow you to position shields wherever you want, like hanging them on doors and walls. It is here:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2449

With these you will be able to collect and display nearly anything, wherever you wish.
They are must-have mods for collectors and packrats everywhere, myself included! :D

I hope this has been useful. ^_^
