Armor sets for quest lines.

I'm not going to ruin anything in particular...

But for all of the guild quest lines, you get corresponding armor of a certain degree.

I would like to know where there is a similar place to quest for some nice heavy armor.

Anyone know? Or is that just for uber smithys/enchanters?

You dont need enchanting to make a good armor, you only need smithing.

Smithing by itself is very strong but I would not say too overpowered.
If you go smithing, just ignore enchanting and you are fine.

There is though, an orcish heavy armor lying at the altar where you later recieve the 2h weapon volderfang, or whatever its called, cant remember.
Look it up....
Eitherway you do get a full set of Orcish from that quest, but its nothing you do unless you are near lvl 20, or you simply cant do it I think.

Other then that, to be honest, the difference in armors, heavy armors, is not that great. Of course from Iron to Daedric it is.
But just use iron armor, get that heavy armor skill up, change to steel when you find it etc.
It also makes the game a lot more interesting staying away from smithing so.

After 50hrs of game play I have myself restarted the game, with a mage. Due to smithing and enchanting ruining my character, or smithing mainly, just that is still, although not overpowered, too powerful for my taste.

I'm level 36 and have Ebony armor. lol. I searched long and hard before I put this post up. I want something amazing, like the archmages robes, or the end of thief quest gear(Avoiding saying it's name). I guess, in the end, the dragon armor that can be smithed IS that amazing gear.
