Ice armor.

Sure it doesn't make sense. Sure it's tacky as hell. BUT I WANT IT.

Armour that you can create yourself out of anything. Shells, skeletons, kettles, plates, pretty much anything as long as you can attach it to your body.

Realistic armor and completely unrealistic armor (WoW) alike.

Armor that's useful, so I doubt we're gonna' see the return of Medium Armor any time soon.

The old sets of armour of course. I can't think of any good ideas for new sets of armour, hopefully the new ones will have good helmets. Bar steel, dwarven and daedric I hated them. The reason I used hoods more than anything else.

The amount in MW, only with more balance (as in medium armor is screwed out), and made to fit Skyrim's settings.

I think they should bring back pauldrons and single gauntlets again, made the whole adventure of finding armor a whole lot funner....and please put like only ONE Daedric Set in the game this time...not every other bandit.

I want new clothing slots for capes and stuff. And the ability to wear two different kinds of gloves.

The ability to wear clothing under my armor. Skyrim is going to be cold, and I don't want to be JUST wearing an iron cuirass like in Oblivion.

The bear and wolf fur armour in Morrowind was great, that would work. More types of fur armour would look good. Oh yeah, capes would be awesome too. ^_^

Hopefully a lot of armor sets indigenous to Skyrim. Stahlrim armor from Bloodmoon would be perfect.

Not just a large variety of armor, which was great (all the varieties of bonemold, anyone?) but a return to the Morrowind style of individual pieces, and the ability to wear a robe, armor and clothes all at the same time.

Edit: Ice armor would be good to see again, and I would certainly not mind the return of medium armor, but I could take or leave that, honestly.

Edit Again: The different types of fur armor from Bloodmoon would be both cool and appropriate. Let's hope they make a return.

I'd like to see lots of kinds of armor, but medium armor is obviously out. I'd like to see some area specific armor like we saw in morrowind. How about giving Stalthrim another showing? A variety of fur armors, Silver armor, some nice barbarian looking steel, and above all variations in grades of a single material. The iron armor you find abandoned in a cave is going to be low grade, rusty and dirty for the most part, while the new set of armor you purchase is going to shiny, high grade and high durability. I think every kind of armor should have three grades.

-Rusty, Beaten, Worn, Flimsy etc. (Name obviously depends on the type of armor rusty leather wouldn't make much sense)
Low grade armor, most often found abandoned in caves, on the bodies of very low level humanoid enemies or on goblins.

-Battleworn, Used, Scratched, Refurbished etc.
Average grade armor, found on most enemy humanoids you kill, or when you buy it from a shop that sells preowned or refurbished armor.

-Pristine, Sturdy, Reinforced, Shining, Polished etc.
High grade armor, found only on humanoid boss creatures and in certain shops that will forge a suit of armor to your order, this should be highly expensive to buy but also allow you to customize some of the features on your armor. (Smaller or larger shoulders, helmet that covers face so on and so forth.)

Mount and blade has an amazing variety of accurate real world armors to draw from. Then add on top of that the plausible armors seen in Morrowind and Oblivion like Bonemould and Dwemer. I'd much rather they keep any WOW inspired armor far away though.

I'd especially like to see armors inspired by the Varangian Guard, as this is a Nord-centric game. Lamellar, Chain mail, Spangelhelms, aventails, etc.

This, and the ability to make your set out of different pieces of armor like in Morrowind.

It would all be better and more useful if there were no armor skills.

I'd also like to see a winterized version of most armor types.

I'd like a shoulder slot but wouldn't exactly be upset if it's incorporated with chest slot again.

I would like to see creative armors, but I agree that anything that looks like it could be in WoW should not be included.
