After looking at some screenshots, it appears to me that it'll work like in Oblivion and Fallout 3, Body armor including boots, gloves, shoulders etc. and helmets, so two types. One armor set for your body, and optional helmets (because why would I hide the face I spent an hours making under a tin can?
). I'm hoping I'm wrong and it works like it did in Morrowind, but I doubt it.
Because when they removed the extra armor slots that were in Morrowind, they were fixing the broken enchanting on them. It was a quick fix to an enchanting imbalance. Chances are they added individual pauldrons back into the game but I'm not sure if they will add back in the other slots. If they do and they aren't enchantable, I'll be fine with it but if the extra layers are enchantable, it would be better if they just weren't added back in.
I could not possibly disagree more. This is a single player game, how the hell does imbalance matter in any way? Don't want to be overpowered? Then don't enchant all your armor, it's as simple as that. Show some reastraint and the problem goes away, while people who like being overpowered can be, everybody wins.
