Capes, Crossbows, and maybe Whips?
I would consider capes clothing, and I'm starting to get the impression that re-introducing old weapons and armor is highly unlikely. At least, I'm hoping that Bethesda would be more likely to introduce new types of weapons and armor instead of bringing back old ones. That being said, if they don't introduce new stuff (which they will) I hope they don't just diminish the number of sets altogether. Oblivion had way too few types of weapons/armor IMHO.
I just can't see them putting the devellopment time into re-introducing something that complex, when they seem resistant to adding in simple weapons like spears.
Crossbows were cool, and it is possible they may be in, due to the Dwenmers being back in, but I remain doubtful. Whips? No chance. Capes? I hope so, but I doubt it.
I totally agree with you. Flails are incredibly unlikely, and I have no idea about spears. That was my original opinion about crossbows as well, but maybe they'll find an interesting new way to handle them (something quite unlike the crossbows of Morrowind). I agree on the whips, and capes I have no idea or preference
A pelt is fur.
And what are you gonna do for this "Nordic" material? Chop little nords into meat squares?
Morrowind featured different types of Nordic and Imperial armor. No reason they wouldn't do the same thing in Skyrim. ie: Nordic Fur, Nordic Plate, Nordic Quartz... etc.
Also maybe like a Granite Material of weapons and armors or some type of other type of rock, hatchets, tomahawks, pickaxes, javelins, and yes more different sets of armors and weapons. :toughninja:
So... rock? Primitive and natural local rock? I like this, probably better than my magical ice idea. Yeah. This looks quite plausible.
