Greetings Bethesda forums.

Since i started out with skyrim, i one time got shot at by some archer, and now i seem to have constantly an arrow stuck in my gut.

see screenshot: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969453478/screenshot/648745380532878889?tab=public

I kinda would apreciate a way to remove the thing, lol looks just silly.

I'm sure it's less funny to you, but that pic made me laugh. Especially with the knowledge that it's been there a long time.

If you are useing the PC. Open the console (~) and type: showracemenu.

Then change your persons six and go out, it wll change the textures for your character and thus the arrow will be gone. Simply go back into showracemenu and turn it back to your original six and keep playing. Workaround until the patch comes out. Better than playing for hours and hours with an arrow stuck in you.

An alternative, if activating showracemenu causes as many problems for you as it does for me, is to open up the console and simply type sixchange twice.

Be glad it was an arrow and not one of those ice spell projectiles. Nothing like having a watermellon sized diamond lodged in the center of your face, glowing bright blue and spreading frost particles everywhere.

Same happened to me on my first playthrough, but I had two arrows sticking through my chest that wouldn't go.

Ended up started a new playthrough because it was getting annoying.

I go between first and third person constantly, and I had an arrow in one of the most.... awkward of places on my male character. It would not go away, I restarted the game and everything. But, alas, I have made a new character and all is going smoothly, I just dread the day when I finally get another arrow stuck on my character.

Something odd I've noticed is that I'll suddenly get arrows in my inventory that I never picked up. I can only assume the arrows being shot at me are somehow going into my inventory.

Have you tried removing all the arrows from your inventory and then putting them all back?

It's better than the wonky eye bug in LOTRO.

You have two options: spit it, or swallow it.

I read in another thread that besides doing a six change operation
the gonad free manipulation was to simply arrange to be shot by another arrow flinger.

Once speared again the old arrow disappeared.

Or so they said.

Yesterday it was the Triumphant Mudcrab, today it's Helga Arrow-Throat... :shakehead:

I'd feel your pain, but I can't stop chuckling at the image I'm now having stuck in my head: your character asking around if someone could PLEASE remove the arrow from her throat - because it's starting to annoy her! Now that's a tough Nord(?) lady! :D

Its just a bug. Takes 5seconds to fix it.

Just equip different armor then equip your old armor an its gone. Simple.

They do, and this has worked for me.

I figured it out when my mage suddenly had arrows in his inventory I never bought or picked up.

I really don't make a habit of being amused by others misfortunes but..... Some bugs are just plain funny..... Find solace in the fact that at least you made a few people laugh today.

Haha was wondering when this was going to happen to someone else.

I've had an arrow stuck on the top of my head since forever. It's got sentimental value now.
