A arrow in the groing should be 1 shot kill

Unless there's a major artery cut, and they bleed out, then it wouldn't be a fatal injury. Unless of course they get an infection afterwards. If I remember correctly, there's a perk or feature that let's your enemies bleed out after a good slashing.

Considering access to modern medicine is nil, infection is very likely. They do have access to magical healing though.

Well, sword fights should end in a few seconds, maces should instantly bash your skull in and getting struck with lightning should kill you, or come close to doing it.

Anyways, I want reasonable damage, not realistic.

And one arrow wont kill you, it'll put you on the ground, sure. But not kill you, of course you'll bleed to death sooner or later.

Though that would be an incredible sight in first person, your charging into battle with your army, and one well placed arrow gets you down before you even have a chance to swing your sword, and you watch the battle until your death. Would go good with this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGMDBppWBOo

Being hit in the groin by an arrow probably wouldn't be instantly fatal. Unfortunately.

you saying that it wont hurt to be struck by an arrow in the groin if you are female ?

I am saying it would hurt to be struck anywhere by an arrow, regardless of place or gender. Hence, this idea is stupid. The only possible 1-shot kills should be in places where you would die nearly instantly from a hit (eye-to-brain, heart, etc).

I don't think an arrow to the groin is going to stop a dragon, let alone kill it in one hit.

Groing, hmm, how is that pronounced? Grow-ing? Or Grah-ing?

Anyways, it can't be as sensitive as the groin.

^This. It should be cripplingly painful (and yes - being hit by an arrow anywhere would be painful, but still....), but I can't see it being a one-shot kill unless it happened to cut the femoral artery, and that's a bit too locational for current tech.

Somebody on one of the forums I post on has a sig about someone who fought with an arrow through his testicles.... every time I see this thread, I think I should run that down..........

Seriously, it shouldn't. Can't you people just aim at the head?

It should, because it is a very sensitive area.

I'm not trolling.

 It wouldn't kill you if you got shot there genius it would just hurt alot, there is no reason to think it would kill you a shot to the head, liver, heart, lungs or neck would kill you not the groin.

in reality ur right

in the game I would like you to be right :P hehe but I think damage is gonna be like this (from highest to lowest):

1- stealth shot (still depends on area)
2- Head/neck shot
3- Torso/groin shot.
4- Limb shot.

A shot to the groin in reality wouldn't kill you it would just hurt alot and if you were that weak that you died from the pain then you would die but most likely you wouldnt be that weak (i hope) it would kill you eventually from bleeding out but that could be stopped and hey look at the bright side free six change operation
