I may be in the minority, but this meme annoyed me the first time I saw it and it hasn't gotten any better with age.

It's funny, I just met a guy in Windhelm who said this arrow to the knee thing, but changed it just like everyone here does. I think his exact words were "I used to play a war hero in this war, but then I took a sword through the chest". it's a meme inside Skyrim too!

It is actually somewhat frightening how rapidly this has become ubiquitous on the internet, particularly on youtube. I watched a decent amount of youtube videos over the past two days, plenty of them having nothing to do with TES, and EVERY video I watched has had this meme at the first or second rated comment except one: I searched for a completely random video and the second rated comment was a reference to Nords receiving a bonus to cold resistance... TES fans may just rule the world one day.
