Arrows in my face...

Post » Thu Dec 01, 2011 10:03 am

So I started a new character, went through Bleak Falls Barrow, and came out realizing that the arrows I took during a fight were still sticking out of my face and chest. I don't want to look wounded 24/7, so I'd like to fix this. I tried discarding all of the arrows from my inventory, I tried sleeping, I tried fast travelling, I tried equiping new gear, discarding gear, loading saves, and restarting my xbox, but the arrows still persist. Does any one know of a method to get rid of these unsightly things, or is my brand new character just bugged?

:(

I had this issue with an arrow stuck in the centre of my face. Going beast fixed it. I'm unsure if there is another fix beyond time.

Don't get shot in the face? :toughninja:

Some glitches in this game seem to stick around. Might have to wait for a patch update, amigo. :/

I had this, but there is an easy fix.

Open the console by pressing the ` button, and type in "sixchange" (without quotes). This will change the six of your character, and remove the arrow. Type it again if you want to change back to your original six.

Your advice might not help the OP (Because s/he is using an Xbox copy of the game). Hopefully it helps others though. :)

Apparently if you get shot with more arrows it will fix it (IE when the "new" arrows disappear so will the old ones). so just go find an archer, get shot with a few arrows.

I had the same issue with two different chars. , it went away after some time, it for some reason only happens at the start of the game.
