I am almost to lev. 60 and am a expert marksman with the bow, it is my primary weapon. I stoped playing for a while but then got back into the game then out of the blue my arrows have stopped hitting the mark. It is easy to see with the right back ground that the arrow shoots slightly to the left. if I aim the arrow to the right of the enemy (if it is stationary) I can hit it. but it is imposible to play the game that way especialy with a moving target. this is the first game I have enjoyed using the bow and this is very disapointing. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix for it?

Did you get the quick shot perk?

Archery seems to fail a lot when firing at very far targets.
I have fired at a bandit leaning against a tree but he never died. I get closer and fire an arrow and kill him. all the arrows that missed where stuck in the tree and most of them should have been chest shots.

No I have never needed to advance my perks that far for the bow.

Did you try switching it to Wumbo?

this is an issue that gets worse with distance yes. but it has never given me a problem like this before. even targets that you can make out the face I am missing I am not braging but I am an expert with the bow. I don't miss, a head shot is easy and now I cant even hit the torso.

I'm an expert with a bow too. I only miss when it goes through the target instead of hitting it. I dont have HUD.

Aahhh.... so maybe this is what is happening to me... I have become enraged by missing long shots and blaming it on range.

FOREVER. Played PS3 vanilla Skyrim, and it did that the whole time. Then bought LE and it was still there.

I am on the PC so I do not know if the issues can be the same, don't know much about console gaming

I use tweaking after i know that archery arrow path is weird

when you shot the arrow is flying a bit above then going straight before going down

After using the ini tweak now it's fine. Before, i can't complete the Angi last training, now i can and it's easy

sounds like a plausible fix but mine is to the side is the procedure the same and if so, I am not familier with the ini tweak

Did you pull the bow all the way? Usually you need to nock your bow for longer time on heavier bows. But I do notice my arrows lag a bit when I trying to move the bow and shoot at the same time. Try leading your target, stop moving, then shoot. At close range don't try to aim, drag shoot instead.

I'm guessing its a 1.9 bug, i've been experiencing the same thing. Probably not as bad as you tho.

The only thing I can think of is that you aren't accounting for drop. Or your moving. Or getting damaged. Or your game is just messed up. Kind of like how I have to hold shoot down even longer, otherwise my arrow falls a foot in front of me, which totally defies logic. It's like I'm trying to launch a live trout from the damned thing.

What bow are you using? I've never had one drift to the left, unless I'm on horseback.

I was never a multy character player thus I only have 1

yes I usualy hold the bow while crouching and for enough time to pull all the way back, I am a precision shooter I find a good perch and take my time to shoot. also remember this is a side to side issue your lag comment seams to indicate up and down which stays true to the target.

I am assuming that is the latest update? if so I hope it gets fixed I like stealth I would hate to have to change my whole fighting method.
