I second the Ice Blade of the Monarch. Such a legendary sword, and so fitting. Among those, the Boots of Blinding Speed, Goldbrand, Trueflame/Hopefire (since it's a sequel?), Eleidon's ward, Daedric Face of Terror/God/Inspiration etc.
And come on, get creative! Make new stuff! What I couldn't stand in Oblivion the most was 1: Level scaling (addressed in another thread), and 2: Randomly generated garbage. I would prefer a smaller world with more uniqueness to it--stuff I would have to seek out or find by quest. Morrowind had far more unique items in it than Oblivion. In fact, after recently beating Morrowind, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon again--I would ask and hope for Bethesda to return The Elder Scrolls to the atmosphere and style of Morrowind. Don't take it easy your user base--don't simplify skills, and create the illusion of finding treasure--make it hard for us if you have to. We can tell when we're being scammed. A chest that randomly spawns glass shortswords et cetera over and over is dissatisfying.
