I've been toying with the idea of getting a tattoo for a few years now, and since I've ways been an elder scrolls fan, I figured "what way can I pay homage to such a fantastic series than forever marking my body with some of their fabulous artwork"

So for the past few months I've been trying to sum up what would be best for me, and a few weeks ago I stumbled on it.

Nocturnal.
More importantly, Nocturnal in her signature pose, arms out nightingales adorned.

Unfortunately, not for lack of trying, I've not been able to find a decent photo of such a pose. So I turn to the forums.

Please, help me! I'll even follow up with pics afterwards

It's appropriate, body art is still artwork and I guess in this instance it could be considered body-fan-art but where did you stumble upon the image? in game. on a website, google? if you can provide an image to work from it might be easier to get an adaption.

To the right or left of my navel! Yet to decide. Probably stretch from trouser line to start of ribs. So a decent size

That's ace! I was torn between the oblivion appearance or skyrim, but I think your depiction is spot on. If you're interested, in an send follow up email with pics to you when it's finished and applied, as this thread will no doubt die before I can get any work done.
