Bruce Campbell returning to play as Ash once again (after what? 20ish years I think) in this new TV series on Starz, starting on Oct. 31st 9PM this year!

Hells yeah. I can't wait. ED2 and AoD are two of my favorite horror movies. Practical effects > CGI any day.

And I gotta say from that trailer, it looks like they are bringing some of the old charm back that the 2011 film missed.

I wonder how the new Evil Dead fits into this. I mean the Evil Dead universe has plenty of twists to allow parallel Ashes? Plural? Ah no matter I need to check if I have Starz first and foremost.

From what was announced a few years back, they are going to merge the new Evil Dead with the old. They are going to make another film that follows Mia, and after that they have plans to have Mia and Ash together in one final film. This show is a bridge to lead into that, IIRC.

ED2 and AoD are amazing movies indeed, though I don't like them for the horror aspect. I love them just because they amazingly hilarious and grand. Plus Bruce Campwell did an amazing job as Ash.
