The future is ok, nothings really changed like earth shattering. The war in Libya is going on, gas is 4.30/gallon USD, and congress has their heads up each others butts.

Carriages are like slit striders, instant transportation. It's mainly used because you can fast travel to any city until youve been there, so you need to walk or take a carriage there before being able to fast travel.

No this is all wrong. The carriages work like in GTA and RDR. You can sit and watch all the pretty scenery as you go or press a button to instantly go there.

Yes, a small one in the top middle of the screen. No, it is similar to oblivion. Some yes, but there are some caves in the mountains that have winding paths through them. And yes pauldrons are separate.
