1- Because i grow unsatisfied to my previous Healer, i'm trying a more warring magical class, Battlemage.
Now i have a doubt: since Battlemages haven't at start any Restoration but Alchemy, it's better for the RP that i get some Restoration spell (like Heart Heal at Arrille, or Balyna's at Mages Guild or Imperial Cult) or i start to mix ingredients a lot for have a good Alchemy rate and do healing potions?

2- I'm nearly at the start, in Balmora: what i can do for have some good starting money? there's some chance to find some high-prized magical object at start (and sell then to dear old Scampy at Caldera) or i can starve until i find some chance to find money? I'm tired to steal the usual big gem from Mages Guild (and in RP my character is more or less honest, and sure not the sort of the thief) and take the sword of Woe its quite difficult and put me in trouble with guards.

3- better join the Temple, the Imperial cult or both? i have seen they have big maluses if i belong to all 2.

as usual, ty in advance for yer replyes

Ther's a nice sword worth 17000 on top of a cupbard in a guard tower in Balmora, across the river from the Mages guild. You nee a cheap telekinesis potion or spell. Jump up on the wall behind the pillar to hide from the guard.

Well you can solve your first two problems at once by making lots of potions and selling them to Creeper.

Potions are better than spells for healing because you go into the menu to drink a potion, where with a spell you have to try and cast it while someone is pounding on you and such. Plus you can drink 10 potions and they all stack up, but healing spells don't work that way.

You can buy ingredients in bulk pretty easy, and it's not stealing so that would get you money without breaking your RP.

I've never had much trouble joining both the Imperial Cult and the Temple, but it seemed to me like the Cult gave me better rewards, at least early on.

There is some nice master level alchemical equipment in the tower of the Caldera mages guild. Better gear - better potions. I call it borrowing not stealing as I always intend to give it back..... one day.

imperial cult have a lot of nice little missions that is more easy going from very early on,and gives out handy rewards, don′t do kaye′s sergeant missions first though, they are a tad tougher.
While I found it hard to collect alms with modest personality and speechcraft-skills,collecting ingredients and deliver potions is the easiest one and gives out some skill books, eventually a spell, and alchemy apparatus, haven′t died yet during any of those missions.Leaving R-P reasons all up to OP if it fits, besides you get to see the world :D

in addition you don′t have to steal for it,for moneymaking selling potions is imho a good thing early on,but I′m more comfortable with it when the skill is around 25 give or take, don′t fail so often then and don′t spoil/waste so much of your ingredients then.

Wait around for some nice Dark Brotherhood guy to throw himself on your sword so you can sell his armor to Creeper. I had three of them show up in one night.
