Assassin Build Help

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 10:07 pm

Hello! I have been having trouble with my assassin characters layout. I feel I want too much perks and dont know what to cut.

Skills:
One Handed
Light Armor
Archery
Enchanting
Smithing
Alchemy

I don't need three crafting skills, but I can't decide whether to cut enchanting or alchemy.

Alchemy: Are poisons good? I heard people talking about them using potions a lot but I have no clue if they are that good.
Enchanting: I am leaning towards this a bit. Enchants on my armor and weapons seem to help a lot more than poisions.

Cut Alchemy, it's not necessary. I use poisons and potions I pick up, and have never had a problem with my thief. Collect ingredients and items that improve alchemy, and every now and then have a potion making session to boost Alchemy if you really feel like it, but it's not necessary by any means.

Also, with that skill set, you're screaming Khajiit.

there are 5 bazillion topics about this

the most important skills are 1h and sneak...focus on that and foget the rest...or put points in them if you have some to spend

What he said.

You can pick a bunch of poisons in the world. I only use them on hard fights tbh.

I'll probably cut alchemy. Thanks!

Moaaar difficult! I think you get a much more rewarding stealth system if you play more difficult settings - I found Expert a good balance. The hard enemies are still hard, but you can take down the easy ones in single hits if you're clever. :)
