Got a bit of a problem....So i wasnt aware that you shouldnt or recommended going into Hag's End Cave before getting the Assassin of Old quest. But unfortunately for me i already did and so when i went into Hag's End Cave to get the Ancient Shrouded Armor, the body wasnt there. So i ended up reloading a save and that didnt do it. I also googled and there was one solution to wait for 30 days because thats supposalbly when the caves and dungeons reset. So i did, but that also didnt work and i dont have a save before ever goin into it because i went in too far back and so im screwed on getting the Ancient Shrouded Armor from the Assassin of Old Quest. So my question is....is there going to be some kind of fix for this? Most people say its not that great of an armor except for one piece but i still would like to get the whole set just to have it since i went through all those quests.

I would try waiting until to see what happens when they release patch 1.4 later this month. I know for me and I have read from others than right now caves, ruins, and such are not respawning like they should since patch 1.3 was released. If you are on the PC you can alway look up the console commands to add the items but to me that defeats the purpose of "questing" for stuff.

have you been told about it by the woman in whiterun who reads your future for you? Maybe it only shows up when you get the quest to find it.

Wrong, I already got my fortune told and the armor wasn't there.

I cleared the dungeon before and went back after the fortune and he was there. His behind a secret door with a lever. I cleared the dungeon about 10 levels back, so maybe waiting a long time does the trick.

Did you go somewhere else and wait the 30 days? You can't wait in the same cell or it will never reset.

I have the same problem. I cleared the dungeon quite a while ago (20+ levels) then got my fortune read by Olava, and went into Hag's End and there was a chest and no body.

Luckily, once you get your fortune read, the lever to the secret door not only appears from that point on, but the ability to get into that room remains for an indefinite amount of time. Just go somewhere else, or adventure for the 30 day reset time, then go back and see if he appears or not.

The handle will be there, may as well give this a try.
