As Assault Mode's issues have been ignored now for four patches in the running, and it's the only game mode I play/like; I'm wondering if any of the Assault Mode Audience is even playing on DLC/Retaliation Servers? I'm rather reticent to reward EA\Crytek for ignoring the only aspect of the game I get any value from...

I have a server @ 208.43.85.207:64000 called "Assault Lovers + DLC 24/7" . It is a ranked Assault server that plays the DLC. Unfortunately, only one of the DLC maps supports the Assault game type. That map is compound. The other three maps are on the server but in CTF and TIA. Of course you can vote to play another map in assault mode up against it. So in short, the rotation is 100% Assault, with the exception of the DLC in other game modes. Add to your faves and friend me in-game b0Dy_cOuNT ( body is spelled b "zero" dy)

Well, thanks for the info and saving me $10, as that's way to much for only one Assault Map. The other game modes are patent kiddie trash as far as I'm concerned and interst me about as much as recreational dentistry...

It's a shame that Crytek has so blatently ignored the Assault game mode, but I guess the squeeky high pitched twelve year olds, I mean wheel, gets the oil...

Well, Im going to make the dlc maps on the server ctf except the assault one. So the server will be all assault and 3 ctf maps which can be voted against. join anytime, but you will need the dlc to get in i believe

I honestly think running any DLC on your server will do more to hurt the popularity of Assault Mode and your server then help... The Assault Mode Audience is only a fraction of the Crysis 2 MP Audience, and Assault Mode Fans that will buy the DLC now that you've revealed only one map is supported will be even smaller still -- add to this many will be canceling their payments for the DLC as well.

Every time a DLC map pops on your server now people that don't have it will get the boot, and go to other Assault Mode servers or have to stop playing ... I'd strongly urge you to cancel your CC payment for the DLC per my comments in your DLC LIES! Thread, and remove it from your server; as sady 'bad for business' is the only thing EA pays any attention to...

I already know of the risks. Testing out the rotation. Ill see how it fares. The server was popular then changed IP's due to problems so its a fresh start anyways. Regardless, add to your faves in case things change on the server and games end.

Capture the Flag is actually a fun break when you been playing Assault for a while. 1 out of 5 maps does seem to help keep me interested longer.

My bet is the only reason CTF seems like a fun break is Assault Mode got the shaft on maps, TWICE, not supported on all maps in the inital game release, and now only one in the DLC...

Yes it's miserable and idiotic that they don't, this would be an easy game mode to add or mod into any other Crytek game, it's just moronic that the only game mode with a modicum of tactical sophistocation is treated like a sh*tty after thought...
