Assault Scope Interferance Module?

Post » Sat Mar 19, 2011 10:31 pm

Today when I was playing in Lighthouse with my Assault Scoped Grendel,
when I scoped at a player (don't remember it's name), I started to hear a kind of electronic interfearence soud, and my vision started to get blue and blury.

The other player had deflection activated I think.

This hapened three times (dispite that funky scope effect, I've killed him in all of them xD).

What is this module?

It isn't a module, you just got tagged by a visor.

Does that happens even if I'm not using a scope?

Getting tagged has no effect on you, you won't notice it. This leads some to suspect hacking because people can apparently see them when they shouldn't be able to - behind walls, obstacles etc.

What you are describing sounds like Radar Jammer except for the part where you say it only happens when you scope. I never use AS so can't say but maybe if you try to scope someone with the Radar Jammer upgraded module it causes your scope to malfunction.

It was caused by deflection deathstreak module the enemy player was using. It both deflects some of the bullets and makes firing more difficult when aiming down sights.

Aaargh, ANOTHER thread about deflection.
AGAIN, deflection is a deathstreak that gives additional protection. And YES, it was deflection.
Sorry for the caps but... this is really getting old.
(No offense to the OP. He asked politely and had it right... but...)
