Assist Points?

Will there be any assist points? I know you won't get many, but it still would be nice to know if you can. :turned:

EDIT: Nvm people I figured it out on my own

They will.I think Brink will use a smiliar system like BFBC2 (Kill Assist) and so on. As far as I know you gain assist points by supporting and helping teammembers to complete an objective.

Actually, I really hope assist points on either damaging something, or acting on an objective, is not rewarded on some sort of possible completion, but rather as it happens. So if you're hitting someone and doing damage, get points, even if they don't die, same with objectives, if you're capturing an area, you should get points for just the action of attempting to capture it, not only if it is capped.

(You might argue this would flood the screen with point announcements but that is easy to code around)

Yeah, all the vids I've seen have exp. points popping out of the guys every time they get hit. I think they've done away with the visual counter, but not the system aspect.
