So I made my a Nord character, made up a name and gave him a backstory. Everything was great, until I noticed that the Clan name I had given him was also shared by an NPC. Part of his backstory was his clan getting killed off, so this made things a bit awkward. So I figured the great people at the Skyrim Forums could lend my a hand in making a new clan name.

My character's name is Bothvar, his clan name was War-Bear. Which I unknowingly took from the smith at Whiterun. He is a sword and shield fighter, with heavy armor, and a smith. He doesn't care for spells, except for Restoration.

I was thinking something bear related, like Snow-Bear, or Bear-Fang. Hopefully you cool cats can help me out on this clan naming.

How about clan Bear-Back who liked it rough in the sack

The Bear-Back Clan, known for their sixy parties and worshiping Sanguine and Dibella. Sounds like a fun clan, though not really what Bothvar came from. Thanks for the suggestion though!
