So heres the link to a laptop a guy who showed this to me (Sorry, am terrible at names)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220893

Got any better laptops/notebooks that are better for same or lower price? Bet you cant beat it!

Also, if you are posting something, any laptops with deals must last past Friday the 28th.

Beat this and I will give you a cookie

Don't know if size is a factor for you, but this is a good deal:
http://www.amazon.com/Acer-AS7551G-6477-17-3-Inch-Laptop-Black/dp/B0041RSFBY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1295943821&sr=8-2

Amazon ships free and no tax for most if bought directly from them or if product fullfilled by them, so kind of weighs out with the newegg "recertified" one if you're getting taxed through them with the shipping added on. Admittedly, Asus is the better brand, but the hardware in the Acer is quite nice.

Edit: $613 as of this post

Yeah, the price is a butt muncher though. Still nice and no, I dont care about size. Just power and cost.

Also, where I live, I got free 3 day shipping and no taxes.

The Mobility Radeon 5145 will still be the faster graphic chip regardless of VRAM...more VRAM is not exactly a basis for more performance unless we're talking about really high resolutions, which none of these notebooks possess.

I really wonder how much of that 1GB VRAM would actually be used and how much would be wasted with these notebook graphic chips. If we're talking games like Oblivion and texture hogging mods, then sure...the 1GB VRAM becomes useful...if the graphic card is powerful enough. However, neither the Radeon 5145 or GeForce 310M are considered powerful enough graphic chips to handle those kinds of mods, so it'll be crippled already before it even can reach 1GB VRAM.
