So for the past few months I have been on an epic quest to find emcees who can offer rap on a higher level; emcess that deliver witty, thoughtful and deep lyrics. I've also been on the lookout for guys who use unique beats or offer riveting flow. While I've found a number of rappers who have great flow, Im currently looking more towards alternative/indie hiphop because it tends to be more relaxing. The search has only begun though!

Here is a list of some songs that I think of when I imagine what alternative hiphop sounds like. This is the type of music I was thinking of when I created this thread.
