They translated Song of the Askelde men, but who were they? Probably some monks at some isolated monastery in Skyrim. Btw, I think there are too few monasteries in Skyrim (the game). I've only found High Rothgar, that's a little wierd when the society is so religious. In OB there are at least three monasteries to be found while exploring.
