They gave me the corner room at the Atomic Wrangler and I appear to be free to use it, but all the containers in the room are red. There doesn't appear to be any karmic impact to using anything in the room. Is it safe to put my stuff in the dresser or will it disappear eventually?

I have the atomic wrangler, but i never use it. My preferred homes are the Novac motel room and the Lucky 38 penthouse, mainly because they are both safe and secure. Novac is easy to get to while fast travelling and Lucky 38 can hold all of the companions at one time, giving you an easy way to pick and swap them while still viewing them all.

I use the safe and footlocker in Novac personally, but I did store a bunch of whisky in the dressers with my alcoholic character (plus in the corners, on the shelves, and all over the floor. I had Cass as a companion) and it never disappeared.

That's hilarious, and it's exactly what I wanted to know.
