[RELz] ATP2.0

In a way, they remind me of Connery's work. And that's a very good thing. Does anyone else agree, or am I just a loony?

ah, good 'ol Connery. i forgot about him... now my taste-buds are waterin' for some ESIII :P
keep up the fantasmal work Ampol

No need to apologize. And yes that is what ATP stands for. A modder recommended that name during the old landscape project.

Nope, I'm pretty sure it means adenine tri phosphate.

Anywho,

I love this mod! It's a little jarring going from places of regular res to ATPed places, but other than that, it is awesome. It doesn't even lower my FPS by a noticeable amount, and I'm on a laptop! Great job.

I've installed everything and I really like what I've seen so far. ATP Roads and Cobblestones is excellent, for example. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Well this is my first built from scratch computer and I had a hell of a time putting it together <_< But with all the troubles out of the way, I finally installed all of what you've released so far.
This is FAR better than QTP3. You really have some kind of talent for this. I got it hooked up in 1080p with a 1980x1080 resolution and it looks awesome! I've never had a gaming puter before so I'm enjoying everything at max settings. I might put godrays in there too once I decide whether AA is worth it or not.
But back on topic, I've noticed something a little strange about the distant textures. There are little black dots all over them and they just look... weird. I remember reading about it in one of your prior threads I think. Was there a fix for that? It doesn't bother me enough to make me want to take out the textures though. They're awesome.

That's the "pepper" effect of the noise filter from the latest Oblivion patch. Koldorn and HTF have made noise replacers for it - check http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/lod2.html for screenshot examples, download links etc.

I consider my Medieval book textures to be my best work, IMHO. I worked really hard on those and I feel they beat close to anything for books I seen yet (Strictly my opinion.)

It's my opinion also.

Thanks for all your work.

Checking out koldorn's now. Thanks Arkngt.

EDIT: Yep. Koldorn's medium setting does it for me :) Now I just gotta remember the name of the mod that made distant trees look better and I'm set.

The black dots isn't related to my textures, but the noise filter (which Arkngt pointed out there is a fix.)

Yeah I guess I just never had the settings cranked up before so I never noticed it on my laptop  Well anyways, thanks for the texture packs and good luck on getting the last two out along with your clutter and whatnot.

Oh my god, this is so beautiful. I already thought my game looked amazing, but I would not have thought it possible that it could look this much better. Wow... thank you. And thank you Streamline for letting me run this with almost no noticeable hit... I think I am in heaven.

Wow! Very impressive. Do your mods also retexture the UL mods?

Um, sorry if I somehow missed the memo, but what exactly do the mods so far *not* cover? From everything out there, like architecture, landscapes, etc. I'm not expecting these to ever cover clutter and the like, but that's taken care of, so no worries.

I just haven't found (or have stumbled right past!) a definitive explanation of what these don't retex. Also, what they never will, even when the project is fully done. Again, sorry if it's a dumb question. :o

As the title says..."Modular Installments of Landscape textures"...thats a pretty big give-a-way...

My clutter project is entirely different from my landscape project. I should release the first part of my clutter project soon as matter of fact. I may do architecture too (I already have started on a few things for that but far away from releasing and its pretty gun it or not thing.)

Ah. I was almost right with assumptions, and simple logic there... :D

I'm just so used to these "texture packs" doing architecture and other stuff, so I thought I'd ask just in case. Thanks for humouring me. And good to hear more might be on the way (beyond these excellent landscape ones, I mean.)

Cheers!

I decided to release my first section of my Clutter Project. The project is called Cups and Bowls (as its only starting out to retexture all cups and bowls of oblivion) and is based of my ATP project. Find the first preview here- - ->http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28808

My textures should work on a 256mb card but with more of an impact per say with someone using a 512mb or 1gb card.

I have the same, and I'm pushing quiet some texture packs on it.
No full huge scale things, like ATP or QTP3, although I take from them what I like.
But with the 'Improved' series, Koldorns dungeons, pretty much all high-res clothing and armor retextures with Bomret's normal maps a good running system with Streamline and Game Booster,
I'm experiencing a lovely environment with hardly any stutter. :)

Just a caution, bomrets normals will overwrite my texture normals for what texture packs of mine you have installed.

Great, downloading now.
Though honestly, with the packs you have now, enhanced vegetation on high, and my 1080p, all I've done so far is run around the world with no bearing at all. Haven't looked at my map or compass once or gone into a city. They're that good.
