Atronach bug?

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 1:56 pm

So I have the alternation perk Atronach (30%) and the standing stone Atronach (50%) for near immunity to magic. It's all good except:

1. Shadow warrior perk fails activation.
2. Conjuration spells fail on cast.

So anyone else having other skills affected by these bugs?

I have the exact same thing. I found that the Atronach bug prevented me from changing into a Wereman. My character was bit by one but nothing happened and I stayed a man. I can only assume it was down to this bug and it's something Bth need to fix pronto! :cryvaultboy:

Nah, seems to be right...you wanted to turn into a wereman and ta-da ended up as a man.

Sorry to be unhelpful but look on the bright side. With that perk and the standing stone a breton would be invunerable. Kinda useless and irrelvent but it's nice to know.

I know it sounds funny but it totally ruins the point of becoming a Wereman. Half man half machine. The Dwermers started the disease and now this bug has cured it. Not what Beth intended I doubt.

"Were" means man. "Werewolf" means man-wolf. "Wereman" means man-man.

I've noticed it, too. It's kind of upsetting because this same issue existed in Oblivion where spell absorption could negate your own telekinesis. I would have thought that Bethesda would have had that issue ironed out from the last game, but it's back and even more annoying now.

"Were" means man. "Werewolf" means man-wolf. "Wereman" means man-man.

He's just trolling at this point about the wereman thing. Ignore him and he'll give it up eventually.

Actually it is just because a flag was not set for those spells to ignore magic absorption. A modder with the construction set can fix it within an hour.
