[Relz] Atronach Expansion

OK, I have begun work on a Crystal Atronach. What do you guys think of it? What should I do next?

Because the base crystal is textured blue with a mesh over that which is textured with a transparent purple, But the atronach mesh lacks an overlay mesh, so I am at a loss. Because the texture does not copy over as transparent....

Really like what's being done here, Melchior Dahrk. That crystal atronach is too cool for school :thumbsup: Keep up the good work!

Glad you like this so far. There are a couple things which fascinate me in Morrowind. I like Ashlanders, Atronachs and Werecreatures.... there are tons more. But that is what my other mods are for :)

Yes. YES! I like how you gave him one big uncut crystal for one arm. Also the Swamp Atronach is superb; is that a Telvanni slave cage on its back? :lol:
If you like the Ashlands, why not try an Ash Atronach? Kind of like a Morrowind version of the proverbial Earth Golem (since much of the island is ash)

If you like the Ashlands, why not try an Ash Atronach? Kind of like a Morrowind version of the proverbial Earth Golem (since much of the island is ash)

Yeah he needed some weapon or something and I figured a giant hulking crystal would do nicely (I sort of got the idea from Midge's Earth Golem :))

Hmmm... I'll have to think about the Ash Atronach, I like the idea. I'll have to see if I can come up with something to make it more than just a retexture....

If you hadn't just used the Storm Atronach body on the Crystal guy, I'd say use that but take out the orbs that orbit him so you only have the dust floating around him, kind of like it's surrounded by a little ash-storm cloud.

I need to test it in game again. So at the moment I am unsure. But it was mostly working before (I have added a couple new creatures since then though)

The Crystal one looks like the Oblivion Frost version which was a redesign I really liked.

Yeah I like the redesign of the Frost Atronach as well.

Shhh quiet! My next atronach I am working on is (currently) a Telvanni Shroom Atronach thingy (an experiment gone wrong) and I based it off of Dagoth Ur's animations....

Yes I have begun thinking about that.... me and my darned one track mind.....

I think that a toad- atronach in a mudcrab model with mushrooms in the back would be awesome :)

That would certainly be an interesting Atronach. But I thing Morrowind lacks the meshes and animations to make a good one.

I don't know... but that is pretty strange, lol! Hopefully I can make some decent progress on it soon, maybe tonight and I'll put some screens up. I also need to retest the summoning scripts and see how they are working (they are a big part of this mod after all!)

What do you think about this new Atronach? It uses Dagoth Ur's Animations. I have made it a Telvanni Style Atronach, something a Telvanni Magelord would summon to perform manual labor or to ward off unwanted intruders. This creature might be encountered wandering around the sunken Telvanni Root Caverns....

Yes, it is rather restricting having everything being Atronachs.... perhaps this could be more of a Golem/Atronach/Humanoid creature Compendium....

I don't know. I need some feedback from people on what direction this mod should take. I want to retain the general. Which is, summoning and encountering new Atronach-type creatures. But do people mind if maybe they aren't all called Atronachs?


edit: OP edited to include pics of the new (unreleased creatures.... most of them at least :D)

Man that looks awesome.. Only one thing.. he needs an other head :P seriously the head is not bad it's well.. to comical for my taste at least perhaps have a crystal or some sort (as a reference to the crystal that powers the telvanni tower... just a thought, anyways keep up the good work :)

I have changed some of the names around. so that now the only Atronachs are the Air Atronach and the Flesh Atronach.

Would someone be willing to beta test this (preferably someone with a good computer)?. Most of the summons were working well. But the air atronach double spawns and I think it is because I have a slow machine and it messes up the script.

Well I have been tweaking some things in the mod. Like the shop, spells, scripts, cleaning the mod and such.

I think I will post the other atronach I have just to give people yet another thing to look forward to :)l. An http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Iron_Atronach! Courtesy of quorn!

Remember that all of these creatures have new spells and abilities for the player to cope with in combat.
