Are Attachments unlocked for each gun at a time like in CoD, or for each type of weapon (class) like in BfBC2, or for every gun?

you do challenges to unlock them, and i guess you could unlock more then one at a time. and i think once you unlock one you can put it on any gun.....maybe, dont quote me :P

You do a challenge to unlock 1 attachment. When you unlock, say the silencer, its unlocked for all guns.

Each challenge at one or two star unlocks several items. If you finish Parkour This one, you get mucho new guns and attachments.

Are any of you disappointed with the low number of attachments and or numerous attachments basically doing the same thing? Like the muzzles for instance, who cares what the muzzle flash looks like? Idk, I'm kinda disappointed because I was expecting at least a few more choices that are based on performance and not aesthetics.
