Greetings fellow Fallout 3 players!

I have recently started to play this game and I can say I have enjoyed it so far, even if my playtime is not very long. I went to the town of Megaton and after entering Moriarty's Saloon I was suddenly attacked by NPC's. It is important to mention that I have robbed "a few" places before reentering the saloon (which I have also robbed, including that bedroom which I think was the cause of all this). Any ideeas how I can solve this or what the cause could be?

Run away from town. Leave the area for three days. (By area, I mean game cell, one of those grids on your world map.) Go back, and everyone will love you again. Some say that you can stealth boy, then sneak, and after about 5 minutes everyone is cool with you, but they hate on me for three days, then they forget. Might want to think about going into first-person view, when entering shops and the like as well.
