I'm generally good and don't kill npcs unless I have to. Or I'm on a contract.

That being said... in Morrowind I took everything that wasn't bolted down. Oblivion not so much as I could find it all a few steps from town in the nearest dungeon.

Wait... what?

You only murder people if someone else is paying you? You think you are generally good?

My characters are generally good characters besides the bad things they do for example my character always joins the Dark Brotherhood but is always merciful to his victims and he eventually tries to redeem himself by joining other guilds and helping the people around him (side quests, main quests, etc)

When I play an RPG I am always the good guy! even if I am playin it for a second or third time, I can start by thinkin "right no more mr nice guy" but when it comes down to it I just cant do it and if I do I feel really guilty.

Does anyone else feel like this????

Urgh, I'm exactly like you. Sometimes in games I can play the evil guy, but I don't feel comfortable with it at all.

I'm almost always the good guy but occasionally I'll try and play evil.

What's strange is... I always like playing as an assassin kinda guy, which I suppose makes me evil, but I don't really feel like I'm being evil.
I'll make good decisions when I'm not murdering people, basically. I'm white with a few blots of black (in terms of moral not skin xD).

I only do the "good guy" stuff, to complete certain quests and get...stuff. Otherwise...it's bad...very, very bad...

Play both good and evil characters but tend towards good/selfish rather than outright evil, and even my evil characters tend to have a reason that I can understand for their evil acts. No slaughtering innocnts for fun for me since I don't find it fun.

Well they were all bad guys... ^_^

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Morag_Tong

I didn't however murder the adoring fan, I tried to give him a weapon once so he could defend himself but he just saw a daedra and ran away into the mountains never to be seen again (I couldn't find him)... so I'd say my char was fairly tolerant of others.

Be polite, professional etc.

Oh all of that being said... I was generally less than nice to the slavers in Morrowind.

somewhere in- between i just care about my self sometimes and sometimes not, like if i would see an ciitzen attacked by an bandit i would stand there for some seconds and thinking which one should i help,
should i help the cilizen and only loot the bandit or should i help the bandit and kil the citizen or just kill them both and get double the loot, well you can guess what i do :)

I'm always the good guy but I like to look for reasons to kill seemingly innocent people for my own personal gain.

Don't judge I'm here to save the world and if in the course of doing what i think is right for this world there is collateral damage....then so be it.<---I stole that from the promo to Kelsey Grammer's new showtime original series Boss.

I told the adoring fan to wait outside the arena so he wouldn't get hurt, he is only about 2ft tall. I felt sorry for him.

I normally play the Bad Guy because it is so much fun seeing npc flop about when they die, all i can do is move them them to funny positions and make it look like they tried to commit suicide by running at a tree for something along those lines :banghead:

No honour in killing the defenseless, but with it being Skyrim and all, your average townie should be a bit tougher than their Cyrodiilic counterparts. One journo said he attacked a barmaid, and couldn't kill her due to her stock of healing potions; rampages might not be an easy option at all.
Anyway, fantasy games are great, you can be an absolute saint, and still become filthy rich. That will do for me.

I normally play chaotic good. I'm not nice to people and generally don't care about them but I do the right thing and still help out for the greater good.

Sibyl, my v?lva-type shaman-in-training, will probably demonstrate the morality of the protagonist in a Clint Eastwood western.

Not necessarily trying to be bad, but doing what is necessary to accomplish goals in a way that will satisfy her conscience.

She will probably do this while leaning toward good, rather than bad. So, for the poll, The good guy type girl.

I always want to be the good guy, but somewhere down the road I make a 'wrong' decision at which I decide to turn into a bad guy.

I have this really weird thing - I play as myself, and before every choice, I save and play all choices to see what happens. Then I choose the one I liked the most. So when I'm done, I don't feel the urge to replay it whether it's DA:O or TES or any other RPG, since I've already done everything. But Skyrim will be the breaking point, I shall never again reload a save unless I die!

In Skyrim my first character will be a evil mage/wizard and my second one will be a evil rogue or assassin and third one will probably be a good character.
