Attention Lorebuffs.

I'm infatuated with the Elder Scrolls lore.

The Imperial Library has always been my go to place for any questions that I have regarding plot holes and topics that are not addressed in-game.

However some of the texts that I find are insanely difficult to comprehend.

http://www.imperial-library.info/content/kinmune - I get the gist of it, but only vaguely, and the rest flies right over my head.

The point of all this?

A proposition: To any of you lorebuffs with a camera and some extra time, why not maybe start a YouTube Channel dedicated to an in-depth lore discussion to shed some light on some of these vague topics.

I know myself and plenty of others would LOVE to actually hear some explanations instead of constantly reading over texts.

Just an idea.

The point of some lore, it is supposed to be vague.

Honestly, Kinmune's a special case. You can probably largely ignore it, & lose very little.

The problem with not studying MKs stuff is that when someone asks a question, it isn't helpful to make a reply in MK-speak. Too many people assume that giving an answer in MK's language is helpful, which it isn't.

I suppose you are right.

Actually, this was done awhile back. Problem is I don't know whats become of it or if anything has been uploaded. Me thinks not. I can't seem to remember the channel either. Still, there is one, but nothing has been done with it. Yet.

Yeah I found a channel dedicated to lore created by a German player but I guess his gameplay videos got more view counts so he discontinued lore vids.

MKs texts are a great read if you can understand them. I'm just trying to get this information by someone putting it down for me in laymans terms instead of having to research the research.

So I figured why not bring it up on the forums where I've read some of the most insightful lore posts.

Even some of the theses (sp?) made by some of you folks looks like it came straight out of a developers mouth.

KIMMUNE is about a moon-robot built in dwarven style who mines reality and wages war on Tamriel because she went insane trying to learn Mnemnoli language (Did I remember that right?).

Something about the Voice being used as a means of communications.

In a nutshell.

Kirkbride becomes easier when you break down the words into tinier pieces. Makes it easier to swallow.

KINMUNE was a robot from the future, designed for mining (metaphorical or otherwise). In a war between Hist and the Jills (angelic dragon spirits in service to Akatosh), she accidentally got blasted back in time to Merethic-Era Skyrim. She killed a giant friend of Ysgramor, causing Ysgramor's army to defeat her and seal her in dwemer ruins under Saarthal. After studying languages for years, she escaped and sensed Tiber Septim's Thu'um around the time of Emperor Zero.

That makes more sense. I was wondering about those Jills

My interpretation must have been way off. I took KINMUNE as the numen behind the various Lorkhan incarnations/Shezzarines, given the many references to being 'worn' and designed as a 'multi-user exoform".

I also placed her time/origin as a previous Kalpa. The 16th dimensional mathematics flung her into the current one.

With the outer colonies separated from Nu-Mundelbright chronoculic sync-net anchors, maintenance of space-time beyond the F-Shores faltered

I thought this was a description of the destruction of the Towers holding up the wheel, which messed with space/time and signaled the destabilization of the Kalpa. The "F-Shores" refer to the realm created by Lorkhan/Shor, IMO.

I also thought that the "insane" incarnation of KINMUNE was Pelinal (who we all love to think of as a time-traveling terminator).

Yeah... I just ignore KINMUNE. It doesn't seem to be anything important. I don't think Bethesda will really take anything from it and make true perma-lore out of it.

Except me. That theory seems... there are a number of adjectives I could use.

To give a backstory to the Eye of Magnus.

And I don't think you'll find a lore buff with extra time. But as the saying goes, if you want something done, do it yourself. :)
