Hey guys, I've got an attribute drop at the moment, more specifically my Willpower is being decreased (noted by the number being red.. right?), and I don't know why.

I've checked all the clothes i'm wearing and even stripped down butt naked and it's still there. I've also checked the 'spells currently active list' and there's nothing indicating the drop there, so what is it?

Probably some curse or something like from a Will-o. Restore potion or shrine should do the trick

Try praying at an altar in one of the various city chapels. What is most likely the problem is that you have been hit by "damage willpower" Which does not operate on a time window and does not appear in the active spell effects tab.

If that doesn't work then just buy a "restore willpower" spell. It does not have to be "restore willpower" specifically. If you get a castable spell for any "restore attribute" then you gain the general "restore attribute" effect for spellmaking, and can make your own "restore willpower" spell.

It might be worth it to do the second option and make a spell for restoring every attribute so you always have a means of restoring attibutes with you.

The spell list doesnt show the attribute drop in all cases, especially when there is no timer involved. Just today I had a drain intelligence by 12 points. Yuck!
I went from 95 down to 83....so, I had to quickly clear my bounty with the guard and then pray at the chapel.

Give it a go. Hopefully it will work.

Just remember that more things than Infamy (bounty?) may work against you at the chapel altar. Spell absorption can work against you, since it works just like any spell cast upon you. You might absorb it.

This is why spells you can cast upon yourself are desirable. Or potions. Or just plain ingredients. OP, have you tried chewing on some Primrose leaves?
