He didn't know where to go, so he asked a dev for guidance

And they guided him to Bleak Falls Barrow

Refreshingly,
I endorse your post, word by word.
:D

Duh. What was she thinking?!
Oh, right. She wasn't.

I find it weird they guided her to Bleak Falls. "Go anywhere you want, do whatever you want", so go here to the dungeon we've been talking about since January and showing since April.

Checkpoints, hope that's only a confusion that the author made with the Auto Save, We don't need that crap in TES.

I don't know about Oblivion, but Morrowind had this. Not within dungeons, but it had auto save.

Could anyone clarify on this checkpoint business? Seems kinda odd.

they must have meant when it autosaves as you move from one place to the next, like with oblivion.

Yeah some youtube footage showed someone being killed by a necromancer and it went to the standard load last save thing so I wouldn't worry. I'm not one of those people who stops playing a character when they die but all I want them to take from Bioshock is dual-wielding (and excellent graphics, atmosphere, storyline) but definitely not the checkpoint things.

It made me happy when he said he kept dying in the temple because he was too low level. That's great that there is no "scale to your level" leveling system for the enemies. Higher level areas will kick your butt. Great news

"I dragged the two townsfolk in to the stream and away they floated. The developer let me know that if I had stayed with them that they would have kept floating for a very long time, fallen over waterfalls, and more."

Holy crap! Talk about getting rid of the evidence...

i suspect that if i find a town near a river i do not like its inhabitants might disappear mysteriously :)....over a waterfall.

Thanks for that. Too low a level for the dungeon; better than Oblivion already. Just using a cliche, or pitchforks confirmed? Must be just a cliche, they would use an animation suitable for spears.

It would be cool if pitch forks could be used.

I missed this one, so thanks! Wow, you can drag bodies AND they float downstream? That is so awesome!! I hated how hard it was to pull a body in Oblivion. You could sort of do it but it took ages to move them anywhere, you had to kind of flip flop them around. I just hope the AI can react to the player moving a body about.

They floated in Oblivion didn't they? What would really impress me is if you put a corpse in water you could see trails of blood coming from it and drifting away in the current.

Yes, but the water had no current so they didn't move.
