After a tough yet enjoyable mission of the DLC feature dawnguard I thought AURIELS bow would be one of a kind, obviously it is but even a standard glass bow delivers more damage, the effect of sunhallowed elven arrows are pretty cool when charged up, kinda gets boring. Anyone else???

I love the Bow but not as much as the Nord Hero Bow.

Given Auriel's Bow wasn't really designed to be taking down Sabercats, it's not surprising its damage isn't as strong as other bows. I just treated it as the trinket it was. Used it for the purpose then threw it on a weapon rack when I was done with it.

I'm sticking with my own bow, an Ebony Bow with both Fire and Ice enchantments, that I named "Violynne's Swan Song". 40 points of elemental damage.

But boy, is this thing soul gem hungry.

I just hung it up on my weapon rack in Lakeview as memento to my travels. Damage is very disappointing.

I like the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate, both in appearance and enchantment, but since I don't want to carry around two bows and I need Auriel's Bow for protection from the sun, I don't get the chance to use it.

I usually just use it to take down Harkon then hang it up on a weapon plaque in my home.

When I was a vampire some peeps were watching me play. I shot out the sun like bored because I'd done it already a few times and they were all like, "Oooo, ahhhhh! What are you a god in that game?" Lolz.

Standard glass bow?

I do not know what you are thinking but it looks nothing like a glass bow.

Looks more like an elven bow but it does not have the eagle motif, is white in coloration, and the end is different.

Auriel's bow is completely unique.

Saying that Auriel's bow is a standard glass bow is like saying Auriel's shield is a standard elven or even ebony shield and they do not look the same as auriel's shield.

Take another look at Auriel's bow and compare it again to both glass and elven bows. They do not even look the same.

Long time no see, hope you are well! That's all I usually do with this bow, put it on display somewhere. I'm also not too good at archery so one bow is pretty much the same as another to me.
