Australian Pre-Order DLC?

still nothing. WTF


It's heaps [censored]. Guess since we're a small country they just don't give a [censored] :P.

Should of bought the game from the US, lol. Exchange rate being what it is would of saved money as well.

I emailed their tech support again and they want me to take a photo of my card/receipt and answer a bunch of questions. I dont have a camera or scanner to do this... read your forums and see im not the only person.

Frak! I really hope someone has their wires crossed by asking you to do this because if this is how they are going to handle it that tells me they are not fixing the problem at all but instead just giving new codes to the people that bother to contact support.

Tried again, Sunday at 2.30. No luck.

So I called Microsoft and all the guy would tell me was "Bethesda are aware of the issue. You can read about it on their support website" (where there is nothing and I still haven't gotten a reply from the form I submitted on Thursday night.)

This is rubbish, I may as well have bought it from ozgameshop and only paid $55 instead of paying Australian price at JB.

I've tried this so many times since i got the game its not funny, by the sounds of things I'm guessing we STILL cant use the codes. WTF...over your [censored] customer support Bethesda, I emailed you 2 days ago and everyone on here (and prob all Aussies with DLC) are still waiting for a simple response. How hard is it? God the game is glitch filled, obviously the PR dept. is as useless as the rest of the Obsidian/Bethesda programmers and testers.

I'd say wait... I was worried at first it was my code (used by some idiot at the store), but it seems to be ALL the codes. At least we're all in the same boat, and they can't claim "you got a bad batch/code" like some companies have in the past.

The ONLY silver lining to this is I've been reading about a lot of bugs with the Classic Pack (at least, maybe the others too)... not being able to add weapon mods to the Weathered 10mm Pistol and the Canteen being glitched/infinite. Maybe, just MAYBE, they're actually delaying it to FIX some or all of these bugs in the bonus DLC! It would be nice if they TOLD us, however! That would be, you know, a little courtesy to those who not only gave them money, but gave it to 'em early (and I'm sure for most of us, paid MORE).

dont think there is any bug with the canteen .. from what ive read... check the wiki urself if u dont believe me... it periodically gives you a small amount of health and gives u some H20 when u get near first lvl of dehydration from what i read... some people probably just havnt seen the message pop up cause they are constantly drinking water... a message pops on the screen saying "you take a sip from the canteen" or something like htat when it does it...

also.. lame.. been at a wedding all day hoped they had fixed our codes by the time i got home :( apparently not

You could be right but I reckon that if it was Microsofts fault then we would have a clear message from Beth by now saying that they have done everything they can do from their side and we just need to wait.
I'm still waiting for Bethesda support to get back to me on the issue, i contacted them 3 days ago, so it shouldn't be to much longer as their site says 48 response time :snoring:

Ive tryd many times over weekend,even rung EB complained and got new classic pack code this mornin.....still dosnt work...says same thing "code is not valid,plz enter a valid code"
so far ive tried 3 diff codes and all say invalid. I got my CE first thing thurs mornin and was really hoping to have classic pack items loaded b4 i startd to lvl up to much and lose myself in Vegas
5 days now and still DLC aint workn. (lovin tha game tho)

yep still no response from beth either... only one from xbox as i said before saying that beth is aware of the problem and is tryin to fix it.. with anyluck itll be done by tomorrow morning by beth people on their monday morning

Just got a reply from MS,sayn same thing. "We (n gamesas) are aware of the problem and workn to fix it". I mean at least they aknowledged there is a problem lol.
Im not blaming anyone but pre-order DLC is xactly what is says it is....its a bonus for those who pre-order their game so we get a little treat to start of with,not a week
or so later when for most of us the items would be useless due to our lvl. Would be nice if Beth showd some love and maybe gave us xtra DLC for all this pissn around.
LOL im sure that will happn.
