Australians come forth!

Post » Fri Mar 25, 2011 3:06 am

So im an Australian gamer, wanting to buy Brink because it looks awesome. It went on sale today for us, and im wondering if any Australians have bought it, and if so, how is the latency playing from Australia?
Are there dedicated servers for us Aussies? And if so, are the good enough that lag does not bother?
just looking for any insight before spending my dollars :)

Out of ten matches so far.. I think I've played that.

I've had one or two spike lags, for afew seconds, over all.

So really its' pretty impressive how lag-less the game is being.

alright sounds good. just didnt want to purchase it only to find out that every server is 200+ ping meaning fps is impossible. any other aussies keep sharing your experiences so we can get a general understanding of lag issues in the oceanic region :)

I've just had my first game and four of my aussie pals joined in, it was unplayable. Of course there's no way of knowing who else is on the server. Then of course we tried to set up another game, but my rank was too high to join.....??? I've only played half an hour of SP...

Hmm, i reckon they'll have two weeks to sort this out before everyone returns the game.

I love the gameplay though.
